Introduction
96% Undensified Silica Fume is a micro-silica fume with 96% SiO2 content, and the Bulk density is 250-400kg/m³.
Silica fume has been used to improve refractory materials for more than 40 years. Silica fume used in refractory materials will have the following characteristics:
1. Improve the flowability of pouring refractory, reduce water consumption, make it easy to shape, and greatly improve the production efficiency;
2. Due to the intercalation effect of its ultrastructure, the compactness and strength of refractories are greatly improved;
3. Silica fume has high activity, and under the premise of the presence of Al2O3 components, it is easier to generate Mullite phase, which makes the high-temperature strength and thermal shock of refractory material significantly improved.
