Elkem Microsilica® 920 EN is a dry silica fume powder certified to EN 13263 ‘Silica fume for concrete’. In use, Elkem Microsilica® 920 EN improves the performance of concrete and mortar formulations.
It acts physically to optimise particle packing of the concrete or mortar mixture and chemically as a highly reactive pozzolan.

Elkem Microsilica® 920 EN is available in two forms: Undensified (920 EN U), with a typical bulk density of 200 to 350 kg/m3 and Densified (920 EN D), with a typical bulk density of 500 to 700 kg/m3.


Batch the product into the concrete mixer and mix thoroughly ensuring full dispersion. Dosage varies depending on application.

Storage and handling
